2 Rooms Contemporary Art Projects is a platform for temporary on-site installation projects, exhibitions & events, and an on-going museum of material culture in Duntara, on the Bonavista Peninsula of Newfoundland.

2 Rooms Contemporary Art Projects presents curated exhibitions of regional and international contemporary art in the first floor galleries of a restored saltbox house. A continuing series of experimental museological displays featuring collections of local historical artifacts and natural specimens are presented on the second floor. The 2 Rooms program reflects the confluence of historical, natural and cultural conditions that exist interdependently in Newfoundland's outport communities.

2 Rooms Artist Residency welcomes approximately a dozen artists each summer for two to three week residencies in the Yellow House, Bog Lane, Duntara. The Residency opened in 2014 with generous donations to our Kickstarter Funding Campaign.

Bonavista Biennale, a 2 Rooms Project, is a month long contemporary visual arts festival taking place every other year in historic buildings and public sites throughout the Bonavista Peninsula. A collaborative effort to enhance creative tourism in the region, Bonavista Biennale is a unique rural-based national event that is fast becoming a significant element within the Canadian cultural landscape. Bonavista Biennale 2017 was awarded the Tourism Excellence Award from Hospitality Newfoundland, and was generously supported by Canada Council for the Arts, Canada 150 Fund, NLArts, ACOA, Fishers Loft, corporate sponsors, local businesses and individual donors. The second instalment of Bonavista Biennale will take place in August 2019.
